One Ambitious Crêpe
Last Friday afternoon my brother sent me a text that read only ‘CBC.ca/foodhost Do it!’ I promptly pulled up the website and knew I had to do it.
CBC Television is looking for a new host for their daytime food tv lineup and is accepting unsolicited audition tapes for consideration in the role. Hey, I may not be exactly what they are looking for but the least I can do is whip up a 5 minute video while preparing some scrumptious Brown Butter Crêpes with Fresh Peaches & Cream and see what comes from it.
At the very least, Hot Pink Apron now has a video channel on YouTube where you can see what I’m making and watching (www.youtube.com/HotPinkApron). *Hooray!* I’m going to have to start wearing pants, or at least a longer apron.

Loved the video! Much luck to you on the audition! Hopefully CBC will stretch beyond the comfort zone. I think you would be great at the role and perhaps all those people with preconceived notions will broaden their horizons too. I think you are a great ambassador for the creative tattooed mama demographic!
